Unusual item : slop pail 10" high by 10" external rim diameter with wicker handle, late 20's. Design 2722 with Prunus Blossom, Bird and Small Butterflies. With handle removed would make attractive jardinière of large and therefore eminently practical capacity. Good condition, good colour to orange lustre ground, though some surface wear. A 15 piece coffee service, circa early 1930s, comprising coffeepot and cover, milk or cream jug, sugar basin, 5 cups and 6 saucers. Imari design, pattern number 4658 painted in gilt to base of two saucers, one cup, sugar basin and cream jug. Printed script mark “Carlton China MADE IN ENGLAND”.
