Exceptionally fine and elegant Classical Christopher Dresser vase 9½” shape 35, of curved conical shape with ribbed collar to the narrow, gently waisted neck. Impressed marks:factory mark `Linthorpe` (obscured), Christopher Dresser facsimile signature and shape number.

Impressive Christopher Dresser/ Henry Tooth ewer decorated with lined, mottled and running glazes in shades of rich dark brown, light brown and pink and white. Very slight chip to inner edge of wavy rim. Impressed marks: factory mark `Linthorpe`, shape number 828, Christopher Dresser facsimile signature, and Henry Tooth monogram.

Teapot 8" high with embossed loop handle, of compressed lateral shape with embossed Celtic decoration to front and rear. Shape 806. Blemishes, but with the uniform maroon glaze decoration would minimally restore well.

Hyacinth bowl 23cm diameter shape 1650. Green glaze decoration from light to darker green over incised repeat pattern decoration, geometrical to sloping shoulder, stylised leaves and flowers to side in a vertical band. Clear impressed marks: LINTHORPE 1650. Slight graze to underside of incised stylised foliate frieze, and minute frit to top rim. £195
Excellent 28 cm high vase of angular shouldered shape with cylindrical neck, with repeat patterns of incised decoration on the tapering body & shoulder under a gradually varying light treacle (hint of green?) to dark treacle glaze towards the base. Though obscured, the marks are discernable: impressed LINTHORPE 150 (though this shape number conflicts with Clive Hart`s recorded `"vase 8" high"), and incised decorator`s mark AS for Arthur Shorter. £895

Pair of Christopher Dresser/ Henry Tooth vases about 4.25”, shape number 6 (or 9?), of dimpled tapered shape with three cornered wavy top. Glaze pinprick and minute score or clay fissure (not crack or firing crack) to wavy top of one, and very slight chips to wavy top of other. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. Impressed marks: factory mark `Linthorpe`, shape number 6, Christopher Dresser facsimile signature, and Henry Tooth monogram. £645

Very attractive Christopher Dresser/ Henry Tooth jug, 5" high, shape 782. Impressed marks to base: factory mark `Linthorpe`, shape number 782, Christopher Dresser facsimile signature and Henry Tooth monogram. The shape of the handle is interesting, as are handles on various jugs/ewers, and this one particularly suggests Dresser`s style. There is a lovely combination of mingled and running glazes.

There is a moulded leaf and flower Japanese style decoration, as seen, Waterlily pattern, under a mustard glaze with slight minglings of light green. The underside has a shaded dark to light green iridescent glaze - see larger image.
